Troop 991 is dedicated to the principles set forth in the Boy Scout Handbook. We will strive to live by the Scout Oath and Law. It is our intention to Deliver the best Scouting program that we can develop. Our leadership will be trained to Deliver the Promise as described by Lord Baden-Powell.

The program presented by Troop 991 is well rounded. There is backpacking, wilderness study, hiking, fishing, swimming, camping, and many other character building activities. Beyond the outdoor training there is a high level of spiritual and community concern developed by the Troop Program.

At the end of the Scouting Trail there may or may not be the production of an Eagle, however there will definitely be a young man that the community, his family and especially himself can be proud of.
